1950s Ransburg Canisters - Magnificent set of 2 These tins are not mint, but they don't need to be. Imperfect but very fine shape for the age. Normal use--it's part of the joy of vintage vs what's manufactured today. Lots of character and early 50s charm here. I've seen virtually the exact same design on several episodes of I Love Lucy! Pale pink, almost beige with flowers, almost muted with nostalgia. A pitcher, a drinking glass, and serving utensils on the wall-- The canisters ARE from another era, and they depict that same style! (life imitating art and vice-versa) Rust here and there. They open and close fine. No major dents. The paint is in pretty good shape.These look utterly cool in an office (home or elsewhere) and make great storage. Bottom reads, "Ransburg: The Best in its Field." They're both 6.5" deep.
