1970’s Vintage Gold Tone Sweater Clip

Vintage Gold Tone Sweater Clip Vintage gold tone, metal sweater clip . The hinges are nice and tight. On each side of this sweater clip, there are two little areas that show imperfection. It’s hard to say if this is defect to the metal or if it is dirt stuck on there. I can’t seem to get it off but I don’t want to use anything abrasive and destroy the gold tone coating.
