terbearco @jenniefinds007 this is not my first time host a party...but the last time I recall it was easy to find my cohosts name, but this time I have no clue who they are, so my question for you, HOW did YOU find out I was hosting a party, was it post somewhere?

jenniefinds007 @terbearco great question! you can find out the day before you go to : or day of... But right now you can go to: Shop then go down to bottom you will see the current party and upcoming parties... go to your party then open it you will see the hosts names click under their names will say click party details Then you will See all the hosts you can then click on each of their pictures !! All will be hosts and one I believe is the PoshMark host Hope that helps!!

jenniefinds007 @alidelros254 what I mean by that is to p Find and save your host picks save them as ❤️’s so you can find under your likes .. the ❤️‘a are like book marks and are in order unless you change the order of how to find them they naturally stay in order of them as to when you liked them 🤗☺️❤️

jenniefinds007 @alidelros254 you do not have to . When someone gets a host pick they will get an email about it from Poshmark automatically. So it’s your choice to make and send a message but not a must . They will know by attending the party and seeing people sharing their item and or by the automatic email from Poshmark .. if you send a message that’s a third way for them to know. It’s nice but if it’s too much skip it 💓💓💓🥰🙋🏻‍♀️🥰🥰🥰

rs6868 @jenniefinds007 Thanks for writing this out. I am fairly new to Poshmark and never hosted a party. I am still in my learning stage. Reading this post was great!! I've been watching the parties, sharing, congratulating, etc. I am seeing a lot of same hosts. I've seen parties with very few host picks. is there accountability or just honor system?

jenniefinds007 @rs6868 I’m so glad it’s helpful! The hosts do change per party many of the same people do get picked to have their items show cases as party picks because they contact the host directly, but the actually hosts are different and chosen by PoshMark . I think it’s important to search for new poshers by looking for a particular style you like under the shop button and then spit out new people maybe by checking out a certain exact brand...

jenniefinds007 @rs6868 for example : floral Jcrew dress then you can search different people’s closets and if you see they don’t have tons of followers or listings chances are they are new and may have never had a host pick. I did a few searches likes this to try to find new people To mix up the party with new people who will then really enjoy the experience and have their closet featured 😃 hope that gives you some inspiration

jenniefinds007 @rs6868 sure ! You can share a minimum of 50 and up to 100 items but I shared a few extra at the end just in case one was already chosen the last few shares I did I didn’t send a message .. just in case it didn’t make it into the party ... there’s no real wha to know for the host unless the other hosts sent a message or I saw in the party at same time but that’s very rare & hard to know - but again 50 -100 and that includes your own🙂up to ten of your own if you have that many that fit the theme

mel_sell @jenniefinds007 what does Posh consider as a new closet? I think I've found all my picks for tomorrow but some if my new posh closets have up.to 8,000 followers, but they don't have any shares and very few listings

jenniefinds007 @mel_sell I would say there’s no real number of listings or shares required to be exact but anyone who seems to relatively new to not having many host picks (it’s not all over their closet for example) would fit their idea of a new posher. I’m sure your picks will be just right and they will be thankful to be recognized:) .

jenniefinds007 @mel_sell I did try to also promote people who seemed actually active on the site too so I checked under: their about page and where it says list active so it wasn’t a month ago for example ☺️ about a week or less then you figure they are active and will be excited for this promotion of their items 🙂

bzbklyn1 Hi! Thank you for all this information! I am hosting my first party on 12/27 (still on vacay mode so no picks for myself 🤣). It is an Outdoor Adventure - once I get the complete list of brands I plan to check my PFFs closets and then look through the specific brands for some smaller and active (!) closets to surprise. If you have any other suggestions I would welcome them! - Barbara

jenniefinds007 @bzbklyn1 I know would be helpful if they actually told you inn advance but not the case … but all outdoor adventure parties will be the same so go to the shop feature then look Rubio you find outdoor adventure and you then click on it you will find the brands allowed in an old party or go to the PoshMark blog or email support ! 💕☺️

jenniefinds007 @daniwoo2 sure ! You can actually apply to host a party through PoshMark’s blog or even Google “how to host a party on PoshMark “ and it will Come up . You have to answer a few questions and then you get placed on a waiting list until a spot opens it takes anywhere from 6-12months approximately 💚💚💚 and I’ll be here to help if you host !
