2 beautiful brass leaf etched ashtrays or what not trays

2 beautiful brass etched ashtrays or what not trays, etched India 229/16.j A gift to me in 1970 and I thought they were old than. I always thought they were really beautiful. From my mother in law from my first husband, time to go. these are each 5"x 6".
