ALEXANDER MCQUEEN Purple Knit Wool Blend Sleeveless Sheath Dress SIZE 4/6

This bodycon/sheath dress from Alexander McQueen is knit in two shades of purple - or blue and purple, depending on how you see it. The baroque pattern is slightly raised, like a jacquard weave, with black as the background color. If you look closely at the pattern, you will see some of McQueen's signature demonic iconography in the pattern. The dress is a pullover style with little cap sleeves, a crew neck, and it hits above the knee. The fabric is a wool and silk blend with about 10% synthetics for stretch and resiliency. Labeled size M, which in US sizing is usually a 6-8, but this dress was made in Italy by a British design house, so you really need to pay close attention to the measurements for the best best guidance regarding actual size.* Although this dress is stretchy, the knit is also thick and strong, so it's not going to stretch a great deal. I'd say it would fit a size 6 the way it's supposed to fit, definitely a size 4, but probably not a size 8. DRESS MEASUREMENTS - Chest is 33" unstretched. - Waist is 28" - Hip measurement is 36" - Length is 38.5" down center back but will be shorter when worn. CONDITION Excellent condition with no apparent flaws.
