This is a booklet that was a reprinted from The Nova Scotia Historical Quarterly, Vol4, No 2, June 1974. Leone Banks Cousins wrote a small history of the life of Norman Wade, a farm boy from Annapolis River Valley in Nova Scotia who joined the Union Navy in 1859 and perished in Florida during the U.S. Civil War in April 1862. The letters he wrote to his family are capture in this booklet. Interesting read.
