Vintage 1940’s Antique Egg-Beater Style Manual Hand Drill Made in the U.S.A. Wooden handles Metal chuck and blue painted metal gears Is in working condition Decorative Unusual Conversation-starter wall piece decoration for any wood shop A hand drill has a cranking handle that turns pinion gears on the main shaft. A chuck at the end of the shaft twists tighter and looser and holds a drill bit. The opposite end of the shaft has a second handle that is held stationary while the chuck turns. Handle end has an opening that would have been used for storage of drill bits.
