Since each piece is executed entirely by hand, no two pieces bear the exact same adornments. The pieces bear the Meissen blue crossed swords that date this service between 1850/60-1924. 3 piece set includes Cappuccino Cup, saucer and dessert plate Cup measures approximately 2” tall Excellent antique condition without flaws- no chips, scratches or damage Thanks for looking!

suzschneider62 Hi, which of the pieces are seconds/-denoted by the two lines drawn across the trademark crossed swords.

freddyfinds @suzschneider62 Hi- The markings are in order from top to bottom. The cup is the 1st photo, saucer is 2nd photo and bottom is plate. Hope that’s helpful, but please don’t hesitate if I can answer any additional questions!

suzschneider62 So the cup and saucer are seconds?

freddyfinds @suzschneider62 I’m not familiar with the term “seconds”, but the cup and saucer have the crossed swords without the dot. The plate has the dot with crossed swords. Thanks again

suzschneider62 Talking about the straight lines etched across the swords. These denote factory seconds, which were sold at a discount due to having a flaw of some sort. You can find more on the internet.
