Art Deco Jean Painleve Seahorse Bangle Black Bakelite and Brass 1930's As Is

This vintage black bakalite and gilded bronze cuff was designed by Jean Painleve in 1930's Paris. He did a whole line of seahorse jewelry. Narrower on the bottom, the top has curled columns at the opening. Two black panels on either side have double seahorses. There is some wear to the plating, mostly on the inside, and the corners of the bakalite. It measures 2 1/2 inches across. Condition is fair to good considering age.
