This could easily be turned into a skirt, and I thought that’s what it was at first. All you would have to do is cut the seam on the bottom. It has an unusual material very fleece like the size of a large pillowcase. It could also become a pillowcase. It has the famous metallic gold Biba logo on one side. Biba was everywhere in the 60s/70s. I have a beautiful cotton top from India by Biba listed separately. Also some vintage purple powder eyeshadow I purchased when I went to the Biba store , so rare now, directly from London 1970s

belerina72 @hoarderhaven as I remember it, it was a heavier scent kinda woody and like incense. …I liked it. I remember my grandmother smelling it and liking it so I gave it to her!

hoarderhaven @belerina72 I finally got around to looking it up there are several put out. Do you know the name of the one you are talking about about what year was it? I would love to try them. When I went to their store in London I don't remember seeing any perfumes there but that was 1980

belerina72 @hoarderhaven hi I purchased it at Liberty House department store in California. All I remember is Biba being the fragrance name. It was in the 70’s. I got married in 1980 and I was wearing other fragrances by then. The only writing on the bottle was Biba

hoarderhaven @belerina72 your store is adorable. My mother taught ballet, tap, modern, and ballroom dancing ~ there's a pic on my homepage & a book came out about her I have not seen yet. Do you know the song by the left banke from the 60s, "pretty ballerina"? One of my very fave songs, & my favorite movie is "the red shoes"! from 1948 .I also have the vinyl record for sale in my store! do you know the song "ballerina out of control" by the 80s band ocean blue? I met them and hung out with them!

hoarderhaven @belerina72 just saw note. I did as a child. got hit by a car. Drs said no more dancing. used to have left Bank 45 but my 45s got stolen& lot of other stuff.. my sis stole moms things&showbiz pics. written by her daughter who teaches writing at Brown U. mom worked w/Sammy davis jr &Sr,the Dorsey brothers, Bill Haley , gypsy rose lee, others. my family didn't know things I knew being closest to mom. belerina72 @hoarderhaven I love reading about your history and family background…. I read a lot from your “about me” and all the responses from others! I’m sorry about your sister. When my Mom was dying I went to a counselor for a few weeks. I told him that I wished I had siblings to share in the loss and care of my Mom. He enlighten me! He said having siblings was no guarantee that these people would be there share the burden or help. You know I was fine with that in-site and carried on! Belinda

hoarderhaven @belerina72 that's right, I have a sister from hell I could tell you more stories! One of the worst things was she took me to court to get custody of my daughter and we went on the Jenny Jones show but I don't have the tape anymore. All based on lies. She was a coke addict and assumed she was going to win the court case and planned to have me committed to a board and care home figuring I would flip out like something from a Betty Davis movie
