A ruana is like a poncho as it is made of a single piece of fabric with a hole for the head; the difference is that there is a slit down the front from neck to hem. It has no sleeve closures, rather just drapes over the shoulders and is kept in place with your arms. This is a "ruana" but I listed it as a "poncho" as that is the terminology with which I am most familiar. This ruana / poncho is 100% Acrylic and is Lightweight.
