Gorgeous, vintage 1950s "Bucks County" pattern teapot (or coffee pot) made in USA by Royal China of Sebring, Ohio. This light yellow teapot has a unique, squatty shape. It depicts a Pennsylvania Dutch / Amish farming scene in a folk art style. The top and handle have a flower design, and there's a scarecrow on the lid. The design is brown.
This teapot is in very good vintage condition (see details below). This would be lovely for both springtime and fall (including Thanksgiving) and would make a great gift for a collector of midcentury decor.
Details:
-Measures about 3 1/8" at the top of the pot (not including the lid).
-Measures 10 1/4" long from spout tip to handle edge.
This is in very nice pre-owned condition with no cracks or crazing. The lid handle shows the most wear and has a little divot/chip on the top toward the center as well other small dings in the glaze (see last two photos). The lid handle feels a little rough in general. The teapot also has some minuscule "flea bites" and marks, as well as a little paint loss in one small spot toward the bottom (see third-to-last photo). The teapot handle feels nice and smooth. Overall, this is in great shape for its age and will be wonderful to use and display.
This will be packed with care and shipped promptly.
