Cobalt Blue and Black Cabinet Knobs Drawer Pulls Ceramic Handpainted

These two pieces of odd ball ceramic balls appear to be drawer pulls. Very old from their appearance. One is Black and one is blue. At first glance the appear to be one color or the other both. But if you hold them to a window you can definitely see one is a deep cobalt blue and the other is black. They are ceramic. Blue one has a long screw still in it. The black one just has a hole which allows it to set nicely on the small block of wood which has a pole for the knob to sit on. Size is approx. but appears to be 1 1/2" diameter each. Blue one has a foliage pattern on it and the black one is a cherub. Again I have no idea what these are used for, I'm just guessing at this point. I have no idea if these can be reused as drawer knobs or just as decorative objects.
