GIANFRANCO FERRE Crinkled Purple Silk Cocktail Dress with Black Lurex SIZE 8-10

Beautiful sleeveless dress from Gianfranco Ferre features a distinctive fabric of crinkled purple silk with black lurex woven into the fabric creating raised floral and foliate patterns. Interestingly, the purple fabric is sewn in sections onto a black stretchy shell that is the actual dress. What appears to be black trim sectioning the purple fabric is the dress itself. This black fabric has a little bit of a spongy feeling and is slightly stretchy; it is not labeled. Closure is with a back zipper, and there is a shorter zipper at the bottom of the dress that can be used to create a walking vent. The dress does have a size label - French 42, which is considered equivalent to a US size 10. In this case, the measurements indicate that it might work for a size 8 as well.
