High Grade Antique Puka Necklace

An row of surf tumbled puka, their rolled lips worn down, bear an ancient look, like bone or pebbles of the ocean. In a perfect graduation, subtle high grade shells glow with just enough salt water sheen to make a statement. Beautiful and lux feeling, it wears well, minimalist and fluid on the body, comfortable, like an old friend. True Vintage, MCM midcentury Hawaiian, with appropriate patina, including verdigris and the tiniest bit of embedded sand. Probably beach made for sale, from one surfer to another. Strung on wire, knotted inside, with an incredible (no, really!) brass screw clasp. This has seen salt water action, and lots of it. Just over 19” This is an exceptional piece: Its hard to find petite puka in this quality level. Frankly I’m tempted to add this to my personal collection; the listing may go inactive.
