LA SPORTIVA Nuptse Mountaineering Double Boots Even the Himalayas are no match for the Nuptse moutaineering boots from La Sportiva. The outer boot is constructed with a proprietary package of materials consisting of PU coated Cordura with insulation plus an internal aluminum thermo-reflective coating for warmth and protection, and the the inner boot has its own laces for dialing in the perfect fit. Flaws: the pull on the back of the left boot broke off, orange-ish discoloration on the outside of the boot as shown, previous owner covered inner tongue with duct tape -- some residue remains. Also used a pen to draw triangles on the tongue and sides of the inner bootie. Used but lots of life left in them.
