Louis Rousselet Art Deco Bracelet or Arm Band

Rare, gorgeous, Louis Rousselet vintage art deco bangle or arm band with pink, clear, and blue prong set rhinestones surrounded by ‘rondelles crystal’ - faceted round glass beads - in an array of coordinating colors, hand woven together against a metal bangle. The internal circumference is about 8 1/4” or so. On me, it’s large enough to wear as an arm band, pushed up towards to the elbow rather than at the wrist, and I believe that is how it was originally intended to be worn, in flapper style - though someone whose wrist is larger than mine could wear it as a bangle style bracelet. Some of the glass components are UV reactive (to both 365 and 395 nm). The last image is of the piece under UV light, and the rhinestone glowing green in the center of the image is one that is blue in normal light. An amazing collector’s piece. Note: this style is attributed elsewhere to Roger Jean Pierre’s work of the 1930s, but Maison Rousselet confirmed with me directly that this piece is by Louis Rousselet.
