Mid Century California Pottery Covered Pot / Candy Dish. Perfect for serving and/or display! Vibrantly colored ceramic bowl: black with drip glaze in lava orange and lime green / yellow. Leaf imprint underneath. Mushroom lid topped with a round metal knob. Backstamp on underside: California Original 140 USA. Likely 1960s. SIZE: Measures 6 1/2” H by 7 1/2” W. The Bowl is 7 1/4” diameter at the rim, 4” diameter at the base and 4” H. The Lid is 7.5” diameter by ~2.5” H. CONDITION: Some signs of age and use though no major chips. The metal knob has some spots of wear on top; knob underside is quite rusted. Note that each CA pottery item is an individual: spots and variations in glaze are natural to the piece. — 122488
