Very Amusing quirky and hard to find bottle cap woman folk art figure. I believe this is from the late 1950s. She has a wood-block body that is tapered to an hourglass figure that is unadorned with 4 red painted thumbtacks. Her serrated bottle-cap limbs are holding an Ellingers agatized bowl that is supposed to be a candy dish, key holder or trinket dish. Another bowl is nailed to her head. The eyes are thumb-tacks, the ears are wire with hanging plastic hoops. Her mouth is present but lifting on one edge.(Normally they are missing) A nose ring completes her face. She does lean slightly forward and can possibly be manipulated to stand straighter, I did not want to attempt to do it. The bowls are some plastic material made by and they are spotted/discolored. I have given this a cursory cleaning, but you are going to want to do more. There is dust in cracks and crevices still. She measures approx. 13" tall X 6" X 4" deep at her widest. I love her and her ivibe, I hope you will too.
