MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE Spanish Music Album by Los Espanoles, Strand Records (1961)

Strand was a New York based label started by Decca and was in business from 1959-1965. Mediterranean Cruise was an album by Los Espanoles released by the label in 1961. In this album Mediterranean Cruise, Los Espanoles present authentic Mediterranean music which they performed with instinctive feeling. You will enjoy some old favorites with different tempos. “O Sole Mio” is done in Beguine tempo. “Never on Sunday” is arranged in a cha cha rhythm. There is also an amusing interpretation of “La Gallina Blanca” (The White Hen). ~~ CONDITION ~~ Album in flawless cosmetic and playing condition. We have listened to the album and the sound clarity is very good. Label is intact on both sides of the album and clearly readable. Album comes in its original cardboard sleeve which is intact but has some age yellowing and has a separation of right upper corner. Writing on sleeve is clearly readable.
