MISSONI Aqua Knit Dress Trimmed with 2340 Pastel Colored Crystals S2-4 NWT $3250

This extraordinary dress is knit in watery shades of aqua, pale celadon, and gray. The dress has an adjustable drawstring at the neckline for closure, which can be adjusted to customize the neckline and fit through the torso. The truly amazing highlight of the dress are three bands of brilliant cut, prong set colored crystals (pale shades of green, yellow, and gray) encircling the dress below the hips. Unfortunately, their incredible sparkle is mostly lost in in the studio photographs, but my desk happens to sit next the rack with dresses that start with "M," so I pulled it out and took a couple of photos with my phone, so you can get a better idea of what it looks like in "real life." I also calculated a pretty accurate count of the number of crystals on the dress and came up with 2340! The fabric is a 100% viscose; the bottom of the dress is lined in blue silk with 8% elastane. Barney's retail tag is still attached with a retail price of $3250 and an Italian size 40, which is usually equivalent to a US size 4.
