The actual blazer is made in a gray fine wool blend. The hooded trim detail is made in a cotton black/white plaid and has gray drawstrings at the hood. This hood/placket trim is fully detachable and can be completely removed(zipped off) from the blazer. So you can wear the blazer alone and more dressed up like a traditional blazer OR you can add the hooded trim and make the style more sporty and unexpected.
