glitzen @leesarahm my clock is in excellent condition. I'll look for the model number later today. I have had the works replaced. Our clock and watch repair person has replaced several "works" in this particular clock.

glitzen @leesarahm so my understanding of these clocks is that you buy them for the design, not the actual workings. I'm sure that if something went awry, I could bring the clock back to my usual timepiece repairman and he would fix it without charging me. I don't know how I would translate that to your local master craftsman. If you are in the District/Maryland/Virginia area, I could introduce you to him.
