Pastel paintings can be smeared so DO NOT TOUCH the surface. I suggest using a double mat and framing behind glass. Do not use plexiglass or anything other than glass, or static will pull the paint off the paper. Do not use a fixative - I have already sprayed it. Additional applications will darken the painting. Shipped in glassine wrap to protect the surface. Some minor transfer of paint to glassine is normal. I am not responsible for any smearing or paint removal caused by shipping, handling, framing, or any other activity once the artwork leaves my possession. Handle with care.
