Ivory and satin and lace gorgeous wedding gown! Currently preserved in a box. Hoop part for skirt was taken out to preserve it, but will send with dress- it just gets inserted back in if you want a large ball gown! In between size 8/10 since it’s been altered, but it has a corset tie in back to make tighter or looser! Gorgeous, worn once, and ready to have someone else experience this awesome dress! I loved it so!!!! Was purchased from Kleinfeld in NY for well over 10k!

emily_arndt Hi, I am a size 16. Do you think it would be possible to loosen this corset to be large enough? I am very interested in this gown but want to be sure it would fit properly.

mwein15 @emily_arndt I’m sure you can make it looser. I’m also almost positive you can add extra fabric in the back of the corset. Just not sure for size 16 and I don’t want to tell you the wrong thing. Maybe call kleinfeld and ask them???

mwein15 @emily_arndt you are not a bother at all. In all honesty, I have no clue what my measurements are. Either way, when you buy a dress, they usually have it fitted to what you are. I’m sure there are areas that you can add if needed. I’m going to upload another pic of the dress as well!

mwein15 @emily_arndt I’ll go down a few hundred dollars but that’s really it. It was a 13k and change dress. Plus I’ll want to ship to you with extra care- and with the hoop too that needs to be put back in. So no more than a few hundred dollars really. 😃. Where do you live? I’m in NY

emily_arndt @mwein15 Ok that sounds fair. :) I live in Pennsylvania. I was actually wondering if there would be anyway I could see the dress in person before purchasing it? It’s really important that I see all that would need to be done with it before purchasing.

mwein15 @gizmotaffy yes of course! Like the description says- it’s preserved in a box- so the hoop came out, but I have it and you can get it put right back in. It’s a gorgeous dress!

mwein15 @jmehner it’s beyond beautiful! I bought it Sept 2008. I’m not sure which collection. I wore it 7/09. It’s in perfect condition. We had it preserved to keep it that way. The wire hoop for the dress has been taken out, and can easily be put back in!
