Tobacco smoke has a way of permeating everything it touches and will soak into fabrics and other materials. Some customers have an allergic reaction to Tobacco smoke, so it's extremely important you mention if you are a smoke-free home in your listings and when you are auctioning your items in a show. This can also increase your sales! I know I've seen items I wanted to bid on but hesitated because of not knowing if they came from a smoke-free home.
