This is a fantastic book that I have had for over 55 years. Great pictures and stories about the civil war. It is geared for young readers. It has lots of artwork and lithographs. a little bit of water damage on one corner of book, and some wear on the paint on the spline. My Mothers sister(my Aunt) was married to one of General Grants relatives and there was a resemblance. book is a heavy paperback that .measures 8×12.
