Produced from the finest porcelain Double Winged Gold Handles. Although I only used once and hand washed, this cup and saucer is actually dishwasher safe: The colors are melted into the glaze at 1000 degrees C, thus making the color and luminosity indestructible. Although scratch and wear resistant, the gold is not completely scratch resistant by virtue of the natural properties. All Medusa Red pieces are tested by the Rosenthal Institute for Material Technology (IWT). Saucer measures 7”, and the cup measures 4.5” across the top and 6.75” including the handles. Numbered 24. Brick Red, Black, Marigold, Custard, Gold. Excellent Condition. No chips or cracks. There is just a tiny bit of wear in one spot to the gold as pictured in the last photo. Saucer is immaculate.
