Vintage 1960s McCoy Potbelly Stove Cookie Jar An adorable black cookie jar in the shape of a pot-bellied stove. The top is the little chimney, the center has orange and red paint that is a fire burning. This is a piece of the well known and collectible Art Pottery made by the McCoy Pottery Company. In nice shabby chic condition with wear commensurate with vintage age. Please inspect photos before purchase. Some chips on the lid handle (and the mouth) have been disguised with matching paint, but no other chips or cracks. The bottom is stamped McCoy. The McCoy pottery company produced a number of unique cookie jars such as this. This stove shaped jar is circa 1960s. Measures 7" in diameter at base and at the top inner opening.
