Vintage Bermuda Hamilton Scarf Iconic Landmarks Hand Rolled Edges Size- 26”x27” This beautiful scarf was owned by my mother,Bermuda was her happy place. I’m not sure when it was purchased because she went often but I know it’s old. Im sure she purchased it at her favorite store,AS Cooper & Sons. It was the oldest family owned store that started in 1897 and closed in 2020. I do note in the last two photos slight flaws. One is a light water spot and the other is a run. The camera had a hard time picking it up because it is so light and not very noticeable. The name Roy Thirkell makes it very unique. In my research, he was well known in London and started his business in 1945 and closed in 1988. He was known for his beautiful silk and cotton scarves with British scenes and country side scenes. There is not a fabric content tag on the scarf. It feels soft like silk, I might be wrong but it doesn’t feel like polyester.
