Vintage GV 925 Gold Vermeil Wired Drop Pendant Necklace This vintage Italian necklace is marked GV which may stand for 'gold vermeil'. And this golden drop necklace is the perfect example of how nice gold vermeil can be. The pendant and chain are both 925 sterling silver, dipped and covered in a sturdy vermeil coat of 14K gold. The pendant is a drop of intricate, every-which-way wire work. It measures 1 inch across by 2 1/4 inches high with the large smooth bail. Inside the bail is marked GV 925 ITALY. The box chain is smooth and solid and measures 24 inches. It also has the GV 925 ITALY markings. Necklace weighs 12.5 grams. Excellent vintage condition.
