I used these for display This fun set was introduced in the 1950's by Gay Fad Studios, a woman-founded company that specialized in hand painted glassware. This series is often referenced as the Gay Fad Studios Beau Brummel Cocktail Glass - Beau Brummel referencing a dandy. One of these glasses is exhibited in the American Glass Museum, located in West Virginia. Gay Fad Studios was founded by Fran Taylor in Detroit, Michigan in 1939. The company was relocated to Lancaster in 1945. It remained in operation until 1963 when it was sold to Santa Claus Inc., Iowa. In 2023, David and Jason Annecy opened the Gay Fad Studios Glass Museum in Lancaster, Ohio, with almost 3000 pieces of Fran Taylor's Gay Fad glassware.
