Vintage Hand Blown Amethyst Glass Pitcher & 3 Glasses with Silver Overlay Parrot

Pitcher and 3 matching glasses with tropical parrot silver overlay design. A beautiful vintage set! No chips or cracks. some minor scratches and wear due to age and use. There is some minor wear to silver overlay around the rims. The amethyst glass pitcher is marked "Sterling", is approximately 9" tall by 6.5" wide and holds 64 ounces. It has a pontil on the bottom and several small air bubbles in the glass. Glasses are 5" tall and 2.75" in diameter at top. Each holds 12 ounces. Glasses are also marked "Sterling". This set would have been made in the 1940s-50s, when there was a resurgence of silver overlay after WWII.
