Vintage Jay Herbert Multicolor Backless Sheath Dress RARE

Brand: Jay Herbert Color: Multicolor with Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange etc Circa: 1960s Size: Small is a guess for modern sizing, the tag says "12" but not equivalent to modern sizing! This dress is likely from the 1960s and the size is a 12 from that time period. Please see the measurements. This backless evening gown belonged to my grandmother, my family called it "The Mermaid Dress" as the pattern looks like mermaid/fish scales. It's quite a stunning dress with a sheath fit, seam at waist, high boat neck, backless with back zip, two wide slits, and hook & eye closure. Some aging due to vintage nature, lining becoming detached, metallic threads poke out throughout, threads worn in a few small spots- see photos. Flaws mentioned are mostly not visible while the dress is on, unless you look very up close. Please ask questions before purchasing.
