Vintage Leather Crossbody Document/Passport Purse - Brown w/Brass Hardware and snap lock closure is a unique and beautiful designed bag. I do not know it's origin. The leather is in excellent condition, with only slight signs of age and distress on the front flap. The inside leather, back outer wall and lining are in excellent condition. The whole design of this bag is very well thought out. Measures approx 11"W x 7.5"H x 2.5"D, and has a removable leather strap with a 17" drop. 2 snaps secure 2 large slip pockets for passports, immunization records, and boarding passes when traveling. Unsnapped, it can lay flat. 1 large zippered pocket can also carry important papers and documents. Behind this wall is the purse compartment for your usual essentials., and has another zipper pocket. It has a matching burgundy silken fabric lining and is very clean inside and out. Some interior components of this bag are raw leather. The purse has a slim profile, but with pleated sides can carry quit a bit. The corners on the flap have decorative brass fittings reminiscent of old photos in an album, and a leather strap secures the purse with the brass snap closure. Can be used as a clutch, I believe this bag was a product of the 80s, so a part of history for sure. No rips, tears or stains and no odors.
