Vintage I. Magnin Felt & Feather Hat

I confess, I do not know much about hats... I don't know what types were from which decades, and I don't really know how to describe them, let alone how to wear one! I am guessing that this one is either 40s or 50s... but I welcome any info anyone could offer me! This I. Magnin felt hat has a stamp inside that says "fur felt made exclusively for Millinery Creator Guild by Merrimac". The I. Magnin label looks almost exactly like a label from a 1940s I. Magnin piece. I put it on the mannequin with the label to the back, I'm assuming that's correct. It has a cute hatpin that I'm assuming someone added? It is a beige, or maybe more like taupe color. It is in very good condition for a hat from that period, it only has a couple of small, faint stains on top, see last pic. The feathers and fur may have originally been less messy looking, but who knows? Maybe not! I measured the size as best I could, 18". Feel free to make me an offer!
