This vintage postcard features a real photo of 8 members of the McCoy / Moorhead family, including an unidentified family member in a World War I era army uniform. The postcard is made of cardboard and paper, with a divided back, and is a standard size of 5.5 x 3.5 inches. It is an original piece from c1918, manufactured in the United States during the White Border era.
The postcard has not been posted, and is being sold as a single unit. Its subject matter and theme make it a unique and valuable addition to any collection of antique RPPCs. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own this piece of history from the Midwest, probably Missouri.
I think this was photographed before the unidentified man in the Army uniform deployed to the Western Front. It has 7 members of the family identified, leading me to believe the unidentified army gentleman wrote the members of the family on the back.
I bought a large book of real photo postcards, and most of them were photographed in Missouri, and I think, more probably than not, that this one was, too, because the house certainly looks like a midwestern house during the 1910s. I know some people research their genealogy, so I will list every identified member, in case a family member might see it and want it.
