Why I Posh — Cinthya!

Cinthya is such a special part of our sponsor family: pure sweetness she writes long newsy letters about everything under the sun. She adores our little girl, who is the same age, and they have started writing and sending photos back and forth across the ocean to each other! An excellent communicator, she wants to be a “great painter” when she grows up, and seems to take shoes very seriously: we always laugh at the photos of her holding them, so stern, like an antique photograph. 😂 Cinthya’s family has had some hard knocks but they are so motivated, so loving, and so action driven to pull themselves up out of poverty that it’s truly special to be her sponsor. Every chance they get to take a class, learn, improve their situation, they do it. This is rare and makes us feel so honored to help. This closet was created to help lift a group of girls around the world out of generational poverty. Living in grim conditions in some of the poorest communities on the planet, the proceeds from every sale help pay for things like health care, nutrition, school fees and supplies, tutoring, and, of course, art supplies!
