Wool Houndstooth Overcoat

Beautiful double breasted women’s wool checked coat. I really want this to fit and it just doesn’t anymore. The checked pattern is navy/brown/beige and has a tweed/houndstooth feel to it. It has a relaxed feel rather than super tailored so it would work well as the oversized coat look. It’s lined with standard black satin, two welted pockets on front, and some cool dart details. It measures 22.5” pit-to-pit when buttoned closed, 23.5” pit-to-pit across the back. Hips measure 23.5” across front when buttoned closed, and sleeve is 33.5” from neck center back. Brand is Piombo and the says “IT” size 48 (which I think is Italian) and “Eur” size 44 which is probably around a 12 or 14 in US sizing. I’m a 14-16 and I can get it buttoned, but then can’t move my arms or shoulders. Thanks for checking it out!
