Lead User Interface (UI) Designer

Poshmark is looking for a talented and creative UI designer. If you have a passion for developing new user experiences particularly in mobile, solving difficult problems and creating delightful solutions, this is the perfect job for you. As an early employee, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the direction of the product.

Specific responsibilities include:

Take the design lead on projects, from early concept work through definition phase (wireframes, flow diagrams, paper and interactive prototypes) to visual design (final mockups)
Work with product management and marketing groups on feature definition
Work with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of features
Serve as advocate for our users and ensure the delivery of great holistic user experience
Contribute to the visual and creative direction of product and marketing initiatives

Job qualifications:

Min 3 years experience designing consumer facing sites required. Experience designing mobile and social interactions highly desirable.
Experience with the entire product design cycle, from wire frames, to mockups, to prototypes, to final CSS/HTML
Work with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of features
Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and CSS/HTML

Principal Software Engineer

Poshmark is looking for a talented and creative full time principal engineer. The candidate is expected to love creating web and online mobile systems with solid code that touches the lives of millions of users. If you have a passion for developing scalable and maintainable server and client code, this is a perfect job for you. As an early employee, you have the unique opportunity to shape the direction of the product.

PS: If you have not developed mobile applications before but have experience in developing web applications, understanding of event oriented programming and user experience, we would love to talk to you as well.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in developing online applications
Deep understanding of issues related to scalability and performance at all tiers of the application
Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, search and queue technologies
Hands on experience with large scale deployments in the cloud
Experience with Ruby, Java, MongoDB, MySQL, AWS, jQuery, CSS, Objective C is a plus
B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Master's is desirable

Mobile Software Developer

Poshmark is a cutting-edge mobile shopping company seeking a sharp intern to join our expanding team. Candidates should be extremely motivated, outgoing, live & breathe fashion, be responsible, and also be deeply enthusiastic about what is happening in the fashion tech world. Our ideal candidate will also possess excellent administrative and organizational skills and be highly dependable to execute on tasks. As our fashion intern, you will assist with frequent photo shoots, help us prepare for and run Posh Parties, and provide general support for the marketing team.
