1950s pencil skirt, unusual pocket, XS

Look closely at the photos of this true vintage 50s tailored pencil skirt and you’ll see that there are two darts on the right side of the skirt’s front and one dart on the the left side. There’s a pocket set between the two darts on the right. This is very unusual. Partially lined. Side metal zipper. Mannequin has 26” waist and 36” hips. The skirt zips on her, but doesn’t button. Waist flat measure 12 3/4” (total 25 1/2”) Center front length below the waist band 23 7/8” There’s no fiber tag. A burn test of a little fabric clipped from an inside seam shows it to be all natural fiber. The flame self-extinguished and left only soft ash. (Synthetic fabrics leave a hard bead.) I think it’s cotton. Excellent true vintage condition. No holes, tears, or stains. From a smoke free and pet free home.
