gmtangel @dianegalante - The metal pieces are not real silver, but silver plated. The metal is copper or nickel. The silver will slowly wear off. The charms (believe & cross) and hooks are silver plated copper which is a pinkish metal. I have found that silver nail polish works to keep pieces silver in color! The nickel pieces turn dark. The round beads have not turned color in 2 years.
