Groovy, colorful true vintage cat bank!. Hard to find Cheshire Cat design. By Pride Creations, Made in Japan in the 1960s. Chalkware / Papier-mâché / Plaster of Paris (similar to ceramic) construction with cheerfully retro aqua blue / green and pink / purple stripes. Measures approximately 6” by 3 1/4” by 4 1/2” tall. Condition: Shows signs of age and wear—primarily in paint loss (particularly in back), but also minor chipping and discoloration in spots. Still cheerfully bright and functional.
