925 Sterling Silver Modernist Torque Collar Necklace Taxco Mexico

A striking sterling silver modernist torque collar necklace hand wrought in Taxco, Mexico, circa 1970’s. A simple (but substantial) ribbon of silver curved into a collar necklace. Finely crafted and designed to ensure a beautiful smooth fit. Back marked, “MEXICO 925 - TH-189”. (The ‘T’ indicates the Taxco, Mexico assayer’s office and the ‘H’ is the initial of the registered maker’s last name.) Maker is unknown. Condition is excellent.
