msimperfeckt @sweetsarahbelle :D I find some of the best graphics! Haha. Some buyers need a reminder about no refunds. I've had people ask to exchange and I'm like, NO... you knew the measurements etc prior to buying... So. No. Bwahahah I'm a meanie, but someone has to be.

acertainage Good luck with that. :-( I had a perfect white sweater returned crammed into a flimsy envelope with no protective wrapping inside (I shipped it in layers of wrapping tissue plus plastic taped around the tissue.) The return envelope got a six-inch tear during shipping and was stuffed in my mailbox that way. So an Eileen Fisher sweater that was pristine when it left my care now has to be dry cleaned. Buyer got a refund. My "not as described" turns out to be a typo in my listing ("two-button sweater instead of "five-button") when you can clearly see the sweater in my pics. Buyer obviously meant to try it on before accepting it. She wrote in comments AFTER the purchase that Eileen Fisher knits often have sleeves that are too tight, and added "Maybe this one will work for me." She must have been delighted when she realized she had grounds to claim misrepresentation because I typed "two" as the number of buttons. I sent Posh Support photos of the huge rip in the return package and have asked who pays for cleaning if the return Isnt packaged properly. No reply yet, and buyer already has her refund. The only way now that I can figure out how to protect myself is by pricing my NYOT and easily damaged items high, and offering to negotiate only with buyers who have excellent Poshmark transaction records. The buyer who stuffed my sweater into the undersized envelope had just joined that night, and said she only joined to make that purchase. So it's not as if she needs to maintain a reputation here. I'm sure this new policy of mine will harm my sales. But what else can I do? I'm not a volume seller, won't make up in volume when something comes back dirty or damaged.

msimperfeckt Aye aye aye 🙈 @acertainage that's terrible!! I wrote this bc of a "newer" posher who got crazed w my closet an her credit card. Rang up a $140 bundle, an then said "some things don't fit. I've done exchanges w others blah blah" um no. So she filed the report as misdetailed items (which were alllllll clearly labeled with measurements ) took forever but she lost her case. But from then on I like to remind folks that #1 I ship with love, care, and free stuff, if you don't like it, resell it all sale are final. I hope you are able to recoop you

acertainage Thanks. I don't know why anyone would expect us to be set up to accept returns and exchanges. Shop retail from Zappos or Nordstrom and they'll not only ship for free, they'll include a free return shipping label - because they have that built into their profit margins, and have insurance to cover their losses when customers damage things before returning them. Some people get a little crazy when they shop for bargains, as you'll know if you've ever advertised a yard sale and had people get angry because you wouldn't sell them a leather jacket for one dollar. "But I WANT it!" Remember when Homer Simpson tried to buy a Winnebago so fancy that it had its own satellite to feed its satellite dish? When they ran Homer's credit card, sirens went off. That's what would happen it I bought everything I wanted.

msimperfeckt @acertainage once, I bought a cruise trip, for myself, my (now ex) best friend, and my parents. They were way on sale and I don't regret it, but jeez that was a lot of money. (Now I'm thinking... Hey wait, don't I have a clause in there somewhere about buyers remorse? Hahah)

acertainage Good for you! You'll never regret spending money on your parents. I regret how much I spent on my hair when I was better off financially. But the times I splurged on my mom and dad are memories that make me smile especially now that they're gone. You're a good daughter!

sharlovesalex Again, love this...recently had a girl say my item was not as described, I clearly took pics of the worn seam on the jeans and described it as being worn and frayed on the seam. When she got it, she said she didn't want them any longer and told Poshmark it wasn't as described...I took a CLOSE UP pic of the seam and she still complained.
