Rose Gold plated sterling silver necklace with faceted amethyst color gemstone pendant. I do not know if this is Amethyst or not...but it is pretty...and i thought it was amethyst when i bought it. would need to be tested. So...low price! 24" chain (rose gold over sterling silver)(positive about the chain) Sterling silver findings 5/8" pendant No chips, cracks, or flaws of any kind. Easy on/off over head, or clasp.

houseofsugar Just like this piece of jewelry is plated… well the word overlay describes the same thing. It’s plated over an alloy. An alloy can be an metal like brass or stainless steel or a mixture of metals. Plated/overlay has the same meaning. I explained this on my page to you. I don’t know 🤷 f you read it or not but you seemed very interested in the definition of overlay. Now you know.
