@btiffany87 , Hi Tiffany!! What an sediment message. Thank you so much. We were in Alaska for six to eight month stints. We worked there seasonally and loved it. We have been back numerous times. The most recent I drove out truck back to Wyoming. It was an awesome trip which consisted of seven days of incredible driving. Needless to say I had a blast. We are now in Asheville and love it. A great hippie, artist town. Super eclectic and we fit right it. It's a great fit for us. Yes, Alaska is an amazing place. I have been all over the world and it truly is unique. I'm so glad we have connected!!💕

@platinum91 , Hi Anna. Yes, I was into mountaineering and my husband was into backpacking and sea kayaking. We both took courses in 2001. I was in Alaska and he was in Baja. We both went back to work for them in 2005 and that's when we met. We were married in 2006 and have had a blast ever since. Alaska is huge. There is so much to do, it all depends on what you're looking for. I would definitely suggest going to Denali National Park. Prior to the season opening, you can actually drive your own car into the park and drive down two track roads and get as close to Denali as you're allowed. It's beautiful. Fairbanks is a really interesting place. I can't even begin to describe it, you will just have to go and see. We were in Palmer Alaska, which is an hour north east of Anchorage and there is so much to do around that area as well. Our favorite restaurant in Anchorage is Humpy's. They have the best fish tacos. There is a town a few hours east of Anchorage and you meander on a two lane road on the coast until you get outside of this town called Whittier. There's a saying, it's always shittier in Whittier. To get there you have to drive through a tunnel, on an active train track. I think it's 3 or 5 miles through the tunnel to this tiny harbor town which used to be a station for the military during the WWI and WWII due to the excessive cloud cover. It's awesome. You'll love it.

@thatmadisongil , Hi Rose. I do the same. All of my bags are either in dust bags or pillow cases too. I am extremely particular with my owning and take great care of my things. 90% of my shoes still have their original boxes and after I take my shoes off I put dryer sheets in them with the paper packaging to keep them stretched. Lol. Yeah, I'm kind of over the top but my clothes last forever and they eventually get worn when they come back in style. Lol. Thank you very much for all of this. My mom is going to be so excited. She has always wanted one but never buys for herself. My parents take great care of their personal items as well, I'm assuming that's where I get it from. They always taught me to take pride in what I own and we do. We drive this into our two year old daughter as well. She is particular with her toys and is now putting them away after each use. @thatmadisongil , Hi Rose. Thank you so much. My family is from NY, Brooklyn mostly, Park Slope area of Brooklyn. I have family in Queen, Long Island, Staten Island, Westchester Co, upstate. Coxsackie to be exact. NY is my favorite place. My great grandparents immigrated through Ellis Island. My Irish ancestors came through as well as my Italian ancestors. My maiden name was Glynn. When my great grandparents immigrated to the country (Irish side) we were O'Glynn. It sounded too foreign so they dropped the O. Were you born here in the states? For some reason I felt like you immigrated here yourself as well but I wasn't too sure. I bet the vintage Dooney is back. Their purses are classic and chic. Again, thank you so much.
