The All Saints Tilly dress was such a sensation the design team remade it as the Athene Dress ... in acid washed silk! Created late in the season, these were even scarcer than the rare Tilly ... I nabbed it in San Francisco the week it came out for a shoot. I only wish it were my size. This flattering voluminous dress is made from luxurious silk with an acid wash treatment. Featuring a racer back, cowl neck, and stitched pleat details, it's a beauty. I'm 5'8" - size 6.. Works great for size 2-4.

onceuponathyme Me, too. I'm hoping and praying that when I'm up and around again I find one (or two?) in our sizes. They also did this in jersey knit - the "Tilly" dress. I remember trying it on and having a hard time deciding between 2 sizes. I DON'T remember what I did with it... whether I took it back or kept one or both. SO.... there's hope, @jkdressler. There's hope! ;-) I'll tag you if I find them. I found the TOP, so that's a step in the right direction! :-)

coolmelanie I know. I love it. I'm on medication that made me gain 30lbs. I whizzed through my size 2 days. I can still wear a 4 and Smalls even xs but I feel most comfy in 6 or 28. So hard to admit. I'm aging and I have a good story what kept me out of exercise land, but it's hard remembering my dancers body, which of course I didn't appreciate it, but now I wish I still had it. Plus I'm 38 & single! I have to compete for love !!

onceuponathyme Honey, we have the SAME sob story. I was a tiny stick my entire life until medical problems brought me down. and up. hahaha. But - you do NOT have to compete for love. You'll find someone wonderful who loves every bit of you, just the way you are. Or you won't. And either way, it will be perfect. :-*

onceuponathyme @jkdressler It's more a charcoal. I'm pretty sure I have at least one more size - maybe two - it's one of those things I think I got in two sizes. Well, I know I did, because I found it on my inventory... just not in my closet yet. I generally got a 6 and 8 on those "don't know which size" pieces I HAD to have. Sometimes I got something smaller, if it was for a specific actress. I don't know if the two bigger ones I'm looking for are in the knit or this (more dressy) silk, though, so ... I'll tag you. :-/ Meanwhile, I HAVE found you some things . . . If you want I'll post a quick post just for you - with the sort of photos I can do with my iphone and no help - to get an idea of what you're looking for . . . ?

onceuponathyme @jkdressler I just tried this on for the first time. If you are any smaller than me - and I know you are (I'm 5'8"...) I think this will fit you. It's a wee bit tight at the armholes with "your" bra on. The bust is open - as it's a cowl. The hips are open.... it's just the ribcage and back that are in question. The other Tilly's are charcoal, but are not this dressy - they are jersey. :-* Okay, you have some things to ponder. My work here - for the time being - is done. tee hee

onceuponathyme Yes - and I'll have my husband take real pictures of it tonight or tomorrow. Meanwhile, take some measurements. Bust, Underbust, bust, shoulder to shoulder, arms right at the arm pit, lower ribcage, and waist. I should be able to tell from that if it will fit you comfortably or not. It's NOT comfortable on me - but only because of the arm holes. They cut slightly in the front. It's fine for the 15 minutes or so I was wearing it, but it would NOT be fine for all day, so let's measure!

jkdressler Here's my measurements: I included some extras in case, but let me now if I missed anything: bust 32", under bust: 29.5", ribs 30", waist 28", hips 37.5", shoulder to shoulder 16", top of arm 11", around my shoulder at armpit 16", top of shoulder down to armpit 5", armpit to armpit 14.5"

onceuponathyme So sorry! I slipped and lost my mind. hahahahaha You are a few inches smaller than me pretty much everywhere it matters. This doesn't touch your waist or hips - just the ribcage, and, to a certain extent, your shoulders. The only thing I worry is that it will be too short. You see the photos on me - I'm 5'8" with normal length legs and a long torso. Oh !@#$! I just noticed I didn't post the photos Gib took of me. I'll do that right now so you can see what I'm talking about. SO sorry! I've had more activity than I can keep up with.

onceuponathyme @jkdressler - Here are the photos of me in the dress . . . My bust is 35" Underbust 33", Waist 30" Hips 40", Shoulder 17" . . . So basically, a couple of inches bigger all the way around, particularly in the ribcage, which is the most important part, I feel. You can see - in the back view - that this is tight on me around the ribs/bust. So, again, the only thing I wonder is if it will be long enough to suit you. I could not wear this without leggings or tights, or a fun frothy slip showing underneath, but I'm weird about my albino-whale-white thighs. :-) Also, there is no "drape" in this at all on me, so the entire possible length is taken up by my width (if that makes sense) so it might be an inch or two longer on you. My hips/butt/thighs are definitely where I carry my weight. Let me know what you think.

jkdressler Ahh shucks, I really love it but I think it might just be too short. I don't think I could wear it without something underneath unfortunately and that wouldn't work for the wedding :( I'm bummed! I still have plenty of time though:) good luck this week!!
