With Byron Lars it's all in the details, and this sweet and sexy top pulls out all the stops. A small dot accents the design, but center stage are the boning, princess seams, and black mesh accenting the wide- nearly off-shoulder- neckline. I'm just not quite busty enough to pull it off, so it has never been worn. This is Pinup Bomb awesome... But that's what Byron Lars does; updated vintage Posh!

I'm too tiny for this, but I'm a stylist, so I have lots of bras - I'll pile 'em up until we match. I had to stuff it for the photos, but I didn't measure when I had it on! hahahaha

michelleannette Hello Darva, I am 32dd, measurements 35, 27, 36. I have Long arms and legs. A high waist. I'd love your help. I go to many of the award shows, and am moving into a stage where I need to redefine my style. My youngest is graduating high school this year, and my serious work is as an executive consultant leading change management. So I have plenty of suits and briefcases. I have a mish mosh of a closet and would love some help moving from 5 closets to one that makes sense. I love styling women, and have practiced on all my nieces and friends, imagine my niece wearing an original Halston to her prom. He,he I would love to move into the black silk AS. Asymmetrical long dress as my base and go from there. My grandmother left me her jewelry and her furs all 37 of them. Whew now there is a storage challenge. So nice getting to know you, I would love to shop your closets with some guidance, and even perhaps get your help during the award season. It is wonky! Michelle

onceuponathyme @michelleannette Hi, Michelle. I'm happy to help you in whatever capacity I can. I CAN imagine your niece wearing a Halston to her prom! My step daughter goes next week ... but she wants to look like all the other girls, so I'm not able to help her much: My skill has always been in helping women stand out from the crowd. Of course I can help her look like everyone else - but not from my closet, which is basically full of the opposite kinds of clothes. I've got a Bob Mackie from "back in the day" that is one of my joys . . . As for the long parachute dresses, I'm not sure how many I have, but I'm keeping two for myself. They are my hands down favorite dresses! My olive one is already out (It never went into storage), and if I have an extra long one you'll be the first to wear it . . . but don't get your hopes TOO high. I love them so much myself! I'm parting with some of my AS, but it's like pulling teeth, since it's so hard to replace this stuff! I'm down today and last night with a touch of food poisoning (scallops ... egad!) but as soon as I'm up and around again I'll get you your measurements. I'm also happy to come help you sort through your mess . . . which cannot possibly be as big a mess as mine . . . and make some choices as to what to keep and what to list in your virtual closet. I just made the decision If I haven't had it on a body in the last year it's going. I may regret that decision later, but . . . there's always a new passion to find! I'm looking forward to meeting you - in person.

singaporejones I am in diagnosed closet envy. You've also inspired me to get back to a size 6! ;) I adore stuff like this - I just wish I lived somewhere I could really wear it! Granted, it would look awesome under a fitted jacket, like classic All Saints ones that had rich ticking fabric, shredded edging with crinoline peeking out, and antiqued buttons running up half the sleeves... Yummm... I passed one up on eBay a few years ago, & thinking about that still depresses me... :p. Now I need ice cream. Not exactly conducive to getting back to size 6.... Oh, and your white voile # is fanTASTic. If I ever get married again, THAT is what I want to wear!
