Astrakhan Grey Wool Cape and Hand Muff 1940s Vintage Rare

Rare and georgous Vintage Grey Astrakhan wool cape with hand muff. The color of the cape is georgous and has a lighter grey woven throughout. The fabric feels heavenly to touch.It is fully lined in a deep purple fabric with red embroidered leaves. The initials LMF are embroidered on left inside panel. The cape drapes on your shoulders falls open in front. There is not a size tag as this was custom made but it would best fit a size Small or extra small The shoulder measurements are approximately 16".it is appropriate 18 in long. The hand muff is stunning and is fully lined. There is a draw string on one end making it easy to carry on your wrist or hang on hanger. The hand muff is 10" long and 9" wide. This cape and muff give an understated elegant look of sofistication and fondness for beautiful attire. They can be worn for generations and both are in amazing condition for 70 plus years. A beautiful look with this fine boucle wool used to create such an amazing style.
